Download.com is mostly spyware... I make free and spyware free apps on NeoSmart.net, I went to Upload.com (where you add to download.com) and their fees are exhorbitant! I fi don't whish to wait a MONTH before listing, i have to pay a thousand dollars a program!
Softpedia.com is another download.com, only SPYWARE AND ADWARE FREE, WITH FREE HOSTING FOR GOOD FILES!

I'll reccomend softpedia and tucows, like some above me. Download.com... it's a shame it's a pile of shit, but everyone uses it, so its hard not to reccomend it. Not all freeware, but let's not forget the new
