The font looks really ancient. Try something more techno.
You can't distinguish the font from the background. Try adding a faint glow around the outside or making it bold and a more contrasting colour.
You can't really read the info at the bottom.
The girl is stretched out too much and her ribs make her look anorexic.

i usually use verdana for my text on stuff, a very nice standard font. what app are you using to work on your sig?

Verdana, Arial, Tahoma, Trebuchet etc. are the best fonts to work with. Typewriter serif fonts just look crappy.

my sig is on the bottom...Although this weekend ill get rid of it and make myself a flash based one ;) I still cant decide the range of colors to base mine on though...it may be a compo of different shades of gray and red

here is a banner i made for my buddy a while ago.
