i have just finnished modding mini-windows,a custom version of win3.1 that installs from 1 floppydisk and then runs from a hard drive, now it can run straight from a cdrom,i have added winbar[taskbar] to the desktop,i have also included fprot antivirus[dos version]and arachne web broswer for dos,by the way the cd DOES NOT autorun, you need a bootdisk to boot the pc,then go to your cdrom drive letter ,then type CD \MW16 ,then type DOSX , the rar is 5.59mb,i am looking for someone to host the file,i you can help please let me know,i have a screenshot of the desktop on betagens website at http://betagen0.tripod.com/

yer, i know,i want to do a win95 or 98 cd ,i was playing around with mini-windows and i thought i wonder if i could make a win3.1 cd,i thought it would be good practice for making a win95 cd,i will give go in the near future, from what i have read win95 is easyer to do than win98.

What about the linux live cd's? :)
They already provide a basic os with many extra's without a hd needed.

A distro like knoppix for example.
