hmm...can't remember where I got cyrus from..I think I thought I made it up, but I learned not too soon after I started using it that I was wrong....the 116 from MSN...I wanted to make an email address using my name, but what I wanted was already taken...they suggested 116, and I said to myself, "....whatever."

I actually use Xeno/Xenokira now. Xeno from Xenogears (best rpg ever)...and kira from Akira, as in the name...not the anime. never seen the anime, but the name is pretty sweet.

that's my story.

Well, my real name is Thomas, in Scotland it can
be shortened to Tam, and part of the Glaswegian
"Patter" is to add ski at the end of some words.

So originally my net-name was Tamski, but loads
of folks thought I was female, and would come on
to me in some chat channels. So I then changed it
to TamskiTManski.

When ieX lost the member database and I had to
re-register I came back as madTaMsKi. Mad due to
the fact that our board had been blitzed, and also mad
in the head due to the depressions I used to suffer from.

So there you have it, that's the origin of the net-name ;)

p.s. I'm still mad in the head btw, but have been off the
meds for over 1.5 years :D

Quactaur.. comes from the name of a video game character that, as a kid, i spelt wrong (quactuar is the real spelling). After that, i didn't notice for a few months, and it just stuck. I like it as its normally unique on forums and other accont services (i don't have to put quactaur0021 or anything like that.

My old username (which shall not be mentioned :P) sucked (I registered it when I was 11).... so I tried to find a better word.
And at the time, I was browsing NewEgg and noticed some Ahanix cases. 'Ahanix' sounded pretty unique to web boards, so I took that, added 1989 [birth year], and here I am.
