Dr. Whoopee is a character out the Doonesbury comic strip that runs all over the place passing out free government condoms. I have no idea whatsoever why I chose the name.

I've followed Iexbeta for quite some time... It has always maintained a certain appeal. Anyways...

When I was a young lad and first signed up for an AOL account (back when it did not suck quite as much), I wanted to be PenguinX. However, the name was taken. Instead I added R2 on the end for "Revision 2" in the spirit of software versioning.

PenguinX + R2= PenguinXR2

:lol:

My name broken into individual pieces.

im = I'm, or I am
_ = a seperator between words
to= too, or overly
_= another word seperator
hyper = Having a very excitable or nervous temperament; high-strung.

When I signed up for my Hotmail account back in a computer class in 4th grade I chose this name, except I wanted im_too_hyper but the double oo was already taken. No, at the time I signed up it was not owned by Microsoft and yes, we signed up on computers using Win 3.11. Only the teacher got Windows 95.

Kurgan = badass villian from Highlander

2001 = year I created my icq account

it just seemed natural to use the same nick here. :D
