Hey guys..not sure if this is hardware or software, or even if it should be in Chit-Chat....

I've made the jump and bought myself a nice little TomTom XL 340s GPS. I use to have a massive Lowrance GPS which could kill you due to its massive size.

Anyway, I've seen people people adding Custom POI onto them, such as red light cameras, etc. I was just curious A) what kind of custom POIs people use, and their sources. Ideally, free is best, but I know there are some paid sources.

I was on a 'free' site, but they were actually paid. It kept looping between 'free link' and the sign up page.

So after 15 min of this, I said, screw it, and came back to where I know people know.

TRAPSTER!!!

http://www.trapster.com/config-poi.php

Trapster also has an app for the iphone and blackberry although I don't like it personally. The Trapster app uses Microsoft Maps not Google DX and the "traps" are only reported or supposed trap areas. Your best bet would be to just update your Tomtom and get traffic camera updates. They should be free since they are for me.

or you could just just obey the traffic laws and not get a ticket wink2.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif
