Google has just pushed Chrome 4 to the stable channel. That means the new features such as bookmark sync and extensions are available to everyone. They have some really nice extensions, and I especially like the Official Google Dictionary extension.

One of the things putting me off using Chrome is the lack of smooth scrolling - it's quite annoying when reading pages of text. Also I find it's the same speed as Firefox on my computer.

There are many reasons to use Chrome besides it being faster (or not). The main reason I use it is because it's simple, clean and smart. As one of my friends has said, "When I click a button, it does what I would expect and assume it to!"
