I would install Xp Sp2 2082 but I use e-Mule. With Beta 1 e-Mule crashes every time I start it, so now I would not waste my time installing something that crashes my pc! Do know if it work now?

well if it crashes now, then you might as well try the newer one. also, have you tried reinstalling emule?

I downloaded Windows XP SP2 from eDonkey servers but I don't know if this is the last release, only I saw is that the installer.exe has 5.1.2600.1152 and
xpsp2.021217-1051 using files properties, can I see from another way ?

if emule is crashing on startup with this build then you might entertain thoughts of trying a new mod ; i have been using emule 41a (version 7 of the black hand mod ... kad stuff disabled) with no issues with sp2 installed with 2055 & now with the 2082 build ; emule has never crashed on me even back before the improvements were made to peerguardian to make it less of a boat anchor on system resources
