Service Pack 2 build 2082 can be slipstreamed if you have the network installer, it's just not available for download as a slipstreamed ISO.

One bug I did face was I integrated SP2 with a XPSP1 CD but upon installation found that certain files for Indeo Video/Audio were missing (Indeo Audio/Video was removed in SP1), I fixed this problem by copying these files into the i386 directory from an RTM build of XP, but I don't think this problem exists if you integrate SP2 build 2082 with an RTM build of XP.

Which is a better option, slipstreaming Service Pack 2 with the 'Original Windows XP' or should I slipstream Service Pack 2 with 'Windows XP Service pack 1'?

RTM! Slipstreaming with XPSP1 causes a few files to be reported as missing during install.

I know about the '8' missing files when slipstreaming SP2 with SP1, but that is easily solved by adding those files from the 'RTM' CD. But, I have also heard of '1' file "usbehci.sys" reported missing when slipstreaming SP2 with 'RTM', what's up with that?
By the way slipstreaming SP2 with SP1 ends up with a huge CD of over 700mb. Does that seem okay?
