Can this version of SP2 be slipstreamed into WINXP (which is w/o sp1)
cos i read tat
The build is available for download at http://windowsbeta.m...ownload/dl3.asp
Build 2082 will be available in English only.
Build 2082 will be available as Update immediately, Web Express will follow shortly. Slipstream, aka Integrated will NOT be available for this build. Update and Web Express will be available Monday afternoon, we anticipate that the supporting files will follow in about 24 hours

Service Pack 2 build 2082 can be slipstreamed if you have the network installer, it's just not available for download as a slipstreamed ISO.
One bug I did face was I integrated SP2 with a XPSP1 CD but upon installation found that certain files for Indeo Video/Audio were missing (Indeo Audio/Video was removed in SP1), I fixed this problem by copying these files into the i386 directory from an RTM build of XP, but I don't think this problem exists if you integrate SP2 build 2082 with an RTM build of XP.

RTM! Slipstreaming with XPSP1 causes a few files to be reported as missing during install.
I know about the '8' missing files when slipstreaming SP2 with SP1, but that is easily solved by adding those files from the 'RTM' CD. But, I have also heard of '1' file "usbehci.sys" reported missing when slipstreaming SP2 with 'RTM', what's up with that?
By the way slipstreaming SP2 with SP1 ends up with a huge CD of over 700mb. Does that seem okay?
