I've gotta tell someone....I work at a gas station while i'm not in school, and weekends can be pretty dead. So, today I pulled my laptop out to burn a disc for a friend that was stopping by to pick it up, and to my surprise, my laptop found an open connection! the signal is really weak (if I connect my portable HD, no more internet...), but the only place I can get signal is in the perfect spot. Its really weird though because there isn't really anything around the building...not for a good block or so in all directions. but its still pretty cool...today's the only day i can take advantage of it though, its my last weekend day.

wow thats cool, not suprising though there's wifi hotspots ALL over the place you just have to look for them
