I have some seminar DVD's that I would like to listen to at work... how would I extract the audio and then convert to mp3?

Not sure the easiest way, but you could:

1. Decyrpt the DVD into VOB files
2. Use a VOB-compatible Virtual Dub to open them
3. File --> Save WAV
4. Find another program to convert to MP3.

Note: VirtualDub does not come with a VOB codec, you have to find a plugin for it because VOB codecs are illegal.

DVD Decrypter can directly demux a DVD. Now all you have to do is get yourself a copy of DVD Decrypter. laugh.gif

DVD-lab Pro also can demux DVD directly. But this is how I would do it:

• Rip the DVD to your hard, using DVD Shrink (rip to folder not ISO; Select no compression)
• Start up DVD-lab Pro and browse to the folder where the ripped contents are select the audio files.
• Wait a while, while DVD-lab pro demuxs them all, then you have a mp4a or something like it - anyhow you can just play file in WMP and it's just the audio.
