Hey, for school I need to make shirts, and I have no clue what design to make.
Required: 4 color, 2 of them touching -- School Appropriate -- Non-ubergeeky -- no black (the shirts are black).


Any suggestions? Remmber I don't want to appear as an ultra geek, and can't do any more than 4 different colors

just have a plain white T with black text

I was only able to do single-color tshirts once, and I did the Half-Life 2 Logo last year. It has to be 4 color. I'm thinking a modified version of the Firefox logo

have a look at thinkgeek.com i've took their ideas and made my own tshirts before. many of them were an immediate hit ("Obey Gravity! It's The Law!")

oh HELL no. sports == no, mascot == cardinal

since the shirt is black, do tux the penguin
you would have orange for the beak/feet,
white for his chest,
grey for eyelids and chest lines,
and using the black from the shirt, outline with another color as if you threw a bucket of paint at a wall and he was in the middle. it would look cool and your art teacher would love it because it is using the color of the shirt too.
Here is an example, please don't mock my art 'skills'

I already said, no tux linux.
