I don't like sports, so I didn't watch the Super Bowl, but I am interested in the commercials. Therefore, I did some Googling and came across this collection from SPIKE.

Now I've only watched a half dozen of 'em, but my current favorite is Bud Light's "Breath of Fire".

What's your favorite commercial from this year's game? 'cause, so far, I'm not that impressed.

I don't really see what makes the super bowl commercials so different from others, besides the fact that they pay ridiculous amounts of money to air them. That really does not equal a better commercial.

And something just doesn't seem right about the idea of skipping through a show to watch the commercials.

Well, the fact they pay so much to air the Super Bowl commercials, one would hope they are of a higher caliber than the regular ones and normally I'd say they are at least a few such commercials.

Well I guess if you're counting special effects or big-name actors. But if you're counting originality, funniness, or hell, the ability to sell a product, then just throwing more money into the commercial does not necessarily make it better.

Besides, I really don't think I could tell a super bowl commercial from a non-super bowl commercial.

any big trailers? they could ride this Dark Knight thing a little further with a Joker teaser.
I still like the classic Apple commercial though.

I remember last years Bud one. Where they had a bird eye view of the stadium and all the people have cards, and when they flipped them over, it looked like a giant was poruing bud into a glass. Gonna check these out now.

I think my favorite was the SoBe 'Thriller' commerical, or the one where the guy had the jumper cables attached to his nips jump starting a car to 'Push It'...Those were the best ones IMO...

I'd rather watch Super Brawl.
