You may not know who Gary was, but you've undoubtably been affected by his works. E. Gary Gygax co-created Dungeons and Dragons, the first commercially released role playing game, 35 years ago. With the popularity of tabletop and computer RPGs at an all-time high, Gary has touched millions of lives, and the basic premise and concepts this game introduced have spawned multitudes of games, novels, movies and other media
and continues to do so.

RIP, Gary - you'll be missed, but never forgotten.
