I am looking for a good site with digital camera's taht I can research. I am thinking of buying a good one soon.

What I would do is to go to some stores or sites of the company who sells them, for example Canon, or Sony. These sites have all the specifications on their cameras on their sites. Also if you go to a store like Future Shop or Radio Shack (not my frist pick...) they might have some cameras there in store that you could try and see what you like.

For instance, you may want pictures and not movies and sound, but you need an expansion slot for a flash card, etc. Check out the comapny sites then go to a camera store and see if your can try it out.

in the same boat here, looking for a digital camera, bought a crappy one and i realise the importance of paying that little extra for those all important factures
