Go to a local book store/library and find a Macromedia Flash book, they are really informative. Or you can to a google search on what you are trying to make, try to narrow it down to something very specific, or you will get a whole bunch of unneeded junk.

flash is easy...... try it... really, its easy check my site (click my sig "visit my site") that was made in an hour... still under development though

ya, i have worked with Flash before, but i can't figure out some effects to text and stuff, i am really self taught, and i want to put it to music
