does anyone here still use that piece of s**t ?
oqwarrior
Nope. I didn't even bother with build 4008. 3683 taught me my lesson. smile.gif

dude, there is something called POLL FOURM!
wI-OSMAN-
this is not a poll. its just a question.

Nah...Use 2003 Server now...much better. I never really even bothered that much with 4008...call me crazy, but I thought 3683 was better. 4008 ran slower on my comp, ate up more resources..the only real plus it had was a better theme, IMO.

I'll most likely wait for a beta from now on wink2.gif

Nope I hardly boot Longhorn now, seem as everytime i boot it up i get new hardware found (Gameport) and it neva installs sad.gif as well as it actually been quite slow, doesnt open up multiple music files correctly, keeps turning off show status bar in IE, all these things just make me not bother with it now after all it is Alpha so I do accept those things there. One thing i do really like is the theme (Plex) any way to put it into XP?

I am still using it 40 plus days now and except for a few minor flaws I find it a fairly good OS well better than any win9x OS laugh.gif [IMG]

Nope, not using it any more cool2.gif

Messed a bit with 3683 - installed 4008 and found it more stable and more smoothrunning, but needed the space on my HDs, so I got rid of it in a hurry cool2.gif

I still see the potential in it, though it's still an alpha and will change a lot later on. But as an OS for daily use? Nope!!! I'll wait for beta before I might consider using it in a dualboot cool2.gif
hacnslash
not alpha, pre-alpha

I am using XP home. had longhorn for about 20 minutes. have both 3683 and 4008. They are now both sitting on DVD-Rs on my floor. smile.gif
