wow today i just switched from my buggy longhorn 4008 to my original xp pro
and damn...i never realy realized how buggy longhorn was...i cant belive how fast my pc is running or how secure and relible it is...

u used it as ur normal os? now that took guts.

well i had a backup pc but, hey it was a risk iwas willing to take, i feel it was worth it,but hopefully...next time longhorn will run superb most likely in beta 1or 2

I had it as my primary OS from the day it came out till just a short time ago as well

the only issues I had came after I disabled WinFS and couldnt reinstall it (never uninstall it as the guides say guys....just disable it)

i ran longhorn 4008 as my main os... but i took it off. i'm running XP home SP1 and it runs really slow for some reason, when i had longhron 4008 on it ran great.

i uninstalled it and its workin fine

ok open up your control panel real quick and tell me if you can see the menu that is supposed to be on the right hand side.

also open up your search and tell me if you can see everything inside of it perfectly

then show me proof

disable system restore
disable hibernation

2 things i HATE

those must be my favorite options

i have those disable.

Hibernation sucks.. but system restore has saved me several times..
