Hello. This might be a subject already discussed in here, but are there any methods to use the Windows Update feature in W2K3? Thanks smile.gif

Going to windowsupdate.microsoft.com doesn't work?

Yeah, if you go to windowsupdate.microsoft.com it should work, I havn't tried it yet, since I don't have a machine to install on, but I think it works if you go to that site. Don't expect a lot of updates though...

The key is blocked, so you have to do it manually by using the download basket option...

MS themselves are giving away 180 day evaluation copies per other threads... I'd have to assume some folks out there are using these and they do come with a valid key. So does Windows Update work on these ones? Probably should, since the only limit on the software is how long you can use it for... and there's ways around that. (Presumably MS will eventually catch on to that though... one day we may see errors like "You have been using your 180-day trial software for 567 days... go out and buy it already!)
