Is there no easy way to set a EXE as a system service?
without the aid of a 3rd party app?

i thought maybe this would work
C:\temp\install>havic.exe -install
but i dont know... any help asap is needed

This program makes it easy to create your own services:

It's not freeware, but that's not much of a problem. wink.gif

i have used this program b4, it uses up a lot more resources than it does using srvany approach from microsoft. Takes a bit longere to do but its worth it in the long run.

there is a 3rd party program to do this on www.alixoft.com check it out, should be free and at the bottom of the downloads page smile.gif
