Google's popup blocker causes errors on web pages. I just use the toolbar for the search. I use Zero Popup to block the ads.

I don't use either, so I don't have to worry about it. Just what I want, Google cluttering up my toolbar. Don't people know how to search ANY search engine using the address bar? Also, I use either MyIE2 or Opera 7.20 with built in popup stopper. Don't need any extra crap running in background. Wasteful.

I would hardly call it cluttering, it shares the same row as the address bar and takes up no more than 2/5ths of the screen width. it comes in very handy.. and ive never had trouble with it causing webpage errors that i know off.

huh.gif How is "eliminate pop-up ads" new? 'cause the Popup Blocker was in the previous 2.x build.

IMO, the popup blocker from google is terrible. It slows up the web page loading and you cant click on the links for a good few seconds. I prefer using popup stopper pro to block any popups.

its just saying its new in google toolbar 2. most of that (i think all) is *new* to the 2nd version of the toolbar, methinks its just bug upgrades and stuff like that

btw the people that said it caused errors, did you try it ever since it was the non beta versions? cuz ive never got an error from in the offical non-beta versions smile.gif
