ok, i use WMP. i always have. well i used winamp 2 for a while, but yeah. on my new system however (soundcard - audigy 2 ZS), WMP sounds utter crap. the music is distorted majorly like the thing is turned up too loud, and enbling SRS WOW makes things even worse. so i tried creative's app; mediasource. wow, the difference in quality was amazing. so what exactly am i whinging about? well, the memory usage is 40MB ouch. so, does anyone know of a media player app which is more memory- and audigy-friendly?

bloody hell, i tried iTunes, and, good though it is (but where the hell is the option to have skin mode always on top!?) it's currently using 44MB of memory.

ah well i'm currently using winamp5 beta 2 and it seems very nice. althoug i would appreciate it if someone could direct me to a skin that fits into the top of a window's titlebar in classic mode visual style. i'm searching but everyone seems to like these huge monster skins.
