Help, a friend of mine has "quick erased"a cdrw but now wants to recover the data on that cdrw. Tried badcopypro but all badsectors indicated and other programs like isobuster say its a blank cd.
Any suggestions...............help..........

it is a blank cd. Quick erase format ur cd with all files.

The only way I can think of involves a microscope and about a week's free time.

the problem is that unlike a hard drive a cd-rom will only read where it thinks there is data.. so no software can tell it to go and read anything

some companies have cd-roms that will do such a thing and charge an arm and a leg for recovery
