I'm not sure when this started happening, but whenever I try to scale an image in Photoshop, my computer completely locks up and I have to hard boot it. My guess is that is most likely due to video drivers. I'm using a Radeon 9700 Pro with the latest Catalyst drivers. I'm not sure though if it is the vid drivers or not. I was able to scale images in Photoshop with this card but have no clue as to what happened to cause the problem. I just formatted my system and the problem still exists. Any ideas?

Maybe trying doing it in Safe Mode? Worth a shot.

Maybe reset your photoshop prefs. Also check for updates online.

It's a fresh install...but I'll have to check for updates. I'm not sure if I can update my educational version that I got from school unsure.gif
