Overview
The Tweakomatic is a nifty new utility that writes scripts that allow you to retrieve and/or configure Windows and Internet Explorer settings. So what, you might ask. Well, think about it. Because these are WMI scripts, they can be used to configure settings on remote computers. Need to change something on a remote machine? Then haul out the Tweakomatic. And think about this: because the Tweakomatic writes scripts, you could do something like run these scripts as logon or logoff scripts. In other words, you could quickly, easily, and automatically configure settings on any or all the computers in your organization.

System Requirements
- Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0
- Microsoft Word for Readme file

This is worth downloading just to look at the readme. biggrin.gif

I really recommend ScriptLogic. It's easy to use and just saves you SO MUCH trouble.

Is this the next version of Scriptomatic by MS?

Not the same one. It is a different utility that is geared towards Internet Explorer Security and Zone settings as well as Windows settings.

Pretty cool little script tool.

As for ScriptLogic, yes that is a very good tool as well if you don't have the time or understanding of scripting. However you can do most all of that stuff for free just by using KiXtart alone.

Yeah, I'm with Chugworth. The readme is quite funny, but what makes it even funnier the fact that this is a Microsoft readme. I had the MS TTS read it to me, and I laughed so hard I sprayed slobber all over my monitor. laugh.gif
