Got a question for all teh Movie Masters here, I have several old movies some of which aren't coming out on DVD anytime soon. The problem i'm having is that i can't seem to trick the ATI software or any of my capture software in to recording Analog so i can get passed the Macrovision protection. I mean im not trying to sell these movies just get them on to Video CDs so i can have them a little longer.

I currently have ATI TV and Sony's Moviestudio and an ATI All IN WONDER RADEON 8500DV.

Any of you guys have any ideas?

check out the various products at /ww.dvdxcopy.com. They are great for making 'legal' backups of dvds you own.

note: I am NOT advocating piracy here.

ah, but its not DVD's its old stuff like disney tapes and what not. Maybe one of those products at dvdxcopy would work for me but i don't need to copy dvds i need to copy tapes.
