One of my friends is looking for something that will allow you to have a slideshow as your desktop wallpaper. Does anyone know of any software that does this apart from 'Animated Desktop 1.2'?

just generate a HTML-Slideshow and set the HTML as Background

What you're looking for is "Background Switcher" when you install it.

That power just changes wallpaper every few minutes.
