my friend has a bunch of anime movies on his computer, episodes...each is about 20 minutes long, so you could fit roughly three on a CD for VCD. Is it possible to burn the MPeG files on to a 4.7 GB DVD so in theory rather than making 7 VCD's we could make possibly just one DVD. Would a DVD player be able to read it and each episode be a track. nero was giving him issues.

Yes. Most new DVD players can play MPEG files on a DVD. It should come up with a list of files on the disk, and you could select which one you want to play.
