i was wondering, how would i set up an email server?

i have a windows xp pro comp

with an
AMD 900 and over 600mb ddr ram.

What software would i need to run fully working mail server?

what would i need to do it?

will i need a domain name



also what would i need to run my own domain hosting service?

i know this is done with software, but how would i do it?

You will need Microsoft Exchange Server and on that domain hosting service, what do you mean by that? you want to issue your own domain and hosting or just domain or what?
