Peerguardian is an IP blocking program meant to block IPs said to be owned by Spyware/Adware and other companies like the Retarded Ingrates Association of America.

This new version has a new options menu with more options unlike the previous versions.
With a built-in Blocklist Manager, it makes it easy to update the IP blocklist.

Thanks for the info Serge666. I had downloaded an older version awhile back, but only started using it a few months ago.

Sometimes it blocks pages I really want to get to like Adobe or Microsoft, but it's easy enough to temporarily turn it off to get around that.

thats because of bad IP ranges. The blocklist is made by people who submit ranges to the programmers and are then voted on by the people.
the current ranges are quite good, Windows update isn't blocked anymore.
