@Flyen: Yeah, I'm not surprised it's expired--especially given BetaPlace's imminent retirement.

In any case, thanks for the heads up and I'll remove it accordingly.

The O12Beta worked for me. I just did it a few minutes ago.

When using Guest ID: O12Guest

Your login attempt failed.

The Guest ID you entered has been locked out of Microsoft Beta. Please ensure you are not using your Beta ID to login. You must wait 24 hours before attempting to sign in again.

O12Guest works fine here.

O12Beta doesn't even exist - I just tried it.

@Singh400: I don't think halcyoncmdr meant for you to take him literally when he said O12Beta.

In any case, O12Guest works fine for me too, so it's back on the table. This is getting kind of ridiculous though. noexpression.gif

@russianjoint: As was explained previously in this thread, there is no "public" guest ID for Vista as it's using the new MS Connect web site for its beta program where the invitation requests are unique.

This is also the trend for all future MS beta programs, so the BetaPlace web site is being phased out and this topic is becoming old news. Hence, why it hasn't been updated since November 11th and has since been unpinned.

oook..so this means there wont be any guest id stuff there no more..
or that it won't be that easy to legally get some betas?

btw..heres a link for "Invitation ID"
*https://connect.microsoft.com/invitationentry.aspx
Heart_Attack
@russianjoin: The "Invitation ID" that the link is refering to is one that is sent from MS, and is unique to each Connect member/Passport ID. Even if someone were to share their ID with you, it wouldn't work with your ID wink2.gif
DarkJedi
quite right, and i really like that as it stops people who shouldn't be in the beta, into the beta. but there are still a few betas at BetaPlace (like Office 12), but it is being phased out.
