You need to enable hardware acceleration in the existing plugin configuration to get 5.1 surround sound.

i suppose this IS possible using my Soundblaster Live! 1024?? & Windows 2003 Server?

The SB 1024 does not support 5.1 surround sound. So how do you expect to get 5.1 sound from winamp if your card does not support it?
