i have got a new pc p4 3.06 with the best hardware and a good sound card,my sounds works great and i could talk on my microphone on paltalk and yahoo messenger with no problem, however the other person on the other side can not hear my voice ,i run all kind of test with messenger audio test and the mic is working just fine and you could see the voice indicator going up and down ,but still they can not hear me, what do you think the problem would be? i need your help in this.
Taco Bell
If you haven't done so already, try recording your voice & playing it back as you may need to adjust the volume level of the microphone.

i did all that.
do you have any other option

Does your camera have a microphone itself? Check to make sure its taking the sound from the right place in the setting. I forgot exactly since i dont own a webcam but i helped a freind once had the same problem it was taking the sound from the wrong input.

If you're behind a firewall or router, make sure you have the right ports open: http://board.iexbeta.com/ibf10/index.php?showtopic=20267
