I don't use Java so I never tried Azureus. A lot of people like it though.

ive got nova torrent....nice little thing. it allows one to create maximum speeds for upload and download (slows leaching if it really slows down your internet like it does to my cable)

I think a "why?" would come in handy here... biggrin.gif

oh, it's just my personal hatred of java. it's not the most stable of things. also, it would run like a dog unless you had a half-decent PC.

The later builds of this have been better fod. I can still
play games while downloading using Azureus. I'll admit
that a few builds ago it was a nightmare, but now it's fine.

I use burst 1.0.716. I find it easily the best bit torrent client.

It ain't the Java than makes it run like crap. BT in general is a CPU hog for some reason. You want a REAL hog? Try Shareaza. You can run Azureus AND eMule at the same time and use half the CPU of that POS.

lol true. i also find it very funny that in the EULA for j2sdk, it says that you can't use the sdk to develop mission critical software. there ya go - SUN's addmittal of it's greatness. also, has anybody noticed that it's becoming more and more like c++ with every revision?

there is also abc bittorrent client. nice features smile.gif
