<img style="float: right" src="http://www.iexbeta.com/images/news/logos/iexMsgPlus.gif">It's now official, Messenger Plus! 3 has finally been released! It took me 5 months to redesign all the software and I can tell you that I'm very happy with the result. As you can see, msgplus.net is also brand new and will continue to be updated during the week. All the sections have been rethought, new feature pages have been added, new merchandise is available for Messenger Plus! 3... soon, the site will even include localized content for the main pages! a new software, a new web site, both of them still as free as ever: what more could you ask?

This app used to be good. It's loaded with spyware now. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone at this point. It WILL own you and your browser.
Actually, If you just remember to click off the spyware and not go through it just like that, then you wont get the spyware.... Some people just go through it just to get it installed and to be using it, while others make sure they aint accepting spyware.

Get your facts straight before posting next time. You have the option of NOT installing the sponsor program (spyware) when you run the installer. If you are one of the silly people who just blindly clicks yes and next to everything when you install a program then I'm not suprised. This app is great, and spyware-free as long as you don't choose to install that bit.

It's adware, sort of.
If your a newbie at it and don't read everything you get the plaque.

Regardless of the option to opt out of the "sponsor program" I still would avoid any company or product that associates itself with C2Media (the wonderful people who unleashed LOP spyware upon us). That and they make it look like a EULA. A lot of people will just assume they have to agree to it. We have all clicked through an EULA without reading it. Silly people who click through aside something has to be said about a person who would willingly associate themselves to that scummy company.
