ok

sorry if this is a noobified question but im interested in getting ms virtual pc 2004 and im wondering if you would recommend it to a computer student going to college this sept ?? reason being is part of the course im studying delves into all different os and im wondering if its poss to say install win xp 64 bit edition ( yes i have a x86 - 64 cpu wink.gif ) linux / unix snd other less well known os ??

Is it better to run virtual pc than have a multiboot setup ?? i can see the advantage of being able to switch between os without having to reboot but im wondering if this is gonna be a valuable tool for me ??

if anyone has experience with ms virtual pc id be grateful if u can help me out smile.gif

It only supports x86 at this point - no 64-bit. You'll need to multi-boot if you want to use a 64-bit OS in tandem with your normal one.

Still won't run 64-bit OSes.
