I accidentally deleted the wrong partition on my HD, is there a way I can restore the partition?

Sorry to hear that Dyne. There's recovery software out there, but you have to be quick about it before the area's overwritten with other data.
I've never used any of it first hand though, so ...

P.S. I know you don't want to hear this right now, but backups.
I don't have to worry about overwriting it because it is in the middle of the drive and my windows partition is no where near it, but I can't find anything that recovers partitions....Does Partition Magic?

No, PM does NOT work, but here's my Google search:
"disk recovery" "hard drive" utilityMost demos though are read only, so you'll need to acquire a full version to truly recover the data.

Paragon Disk Tools will probably do it, though its hard to get hold of.

try something linux-ish (a live distro like knoppix) there's tons of stuff there to use, but you just gotta find it.
once you fix it, back up your partition table. ive used an app in linux that can do it, but i cant remember the name. it might have been qtparted(in knoppix)

It's kinda hard to fix that cough if I'm at work though, All the ports to give you the medicine are blocked
ROFL you like Fedora eh? You were PISSED last night hahahhahhahaa!
Did you try the recovery thingy? I went to bed before you came back online last night.
No, It's not Fedora anymore, I was in DiskMgmt in Windows XP on my PC at work today, but I deleted the wrong partition and now I need to recover the data, I lost my Application Partition and my CD-Images Partition so I'm a little miffed....
hahahah good job. yeah i'm at work too, if you don't get it sorted out in the mean time, i'll look for some stuff when i get home.
What sucks even MORE is that I brought my PC in to finally re-arrange the HD around with partitions and now I know HOW to fix it, but I can't because the PC is at work (oxymoron)
