I wouldn't use them personally, but you never who may like them.

I dont use the LDB stuff but know people who do and it actually works really well.
for instance the clock app has an alarm feature which the standard XP clock does not
but most of the rest is indeed bloatware.
if someone can't figure out how to change their own wallpaper they've got issues.

I was looking at the alarm clock program and thinking, yeah that would be a usefull, then I thought, what now im going to have an alarm clock on my computer, but my clock radio is working just fine. lol Their will come a day when every thing will be done through our computers. For now I am sticking with the clock radio.
