Phonics Monkey
Okay, now this ones really pissing me off (considering it's a fresh load on a brand new comp).

I've been using Trillian for a few years now, and I've also been using a specific hotket combo for, well... since the beginning of time. The hotkey combo in question is Ctrl+Alt+C which I've been using for the command prompt, which one tends to need quickly from time to time... Trillian has now decided to assign this combo to its connection manager

Note: If you don't know why one might need to get to a command prompt quickly then your a "Food Animal" thats to stupid to be on the internet... wink.gif

...Any how, for some delightfully insane reason trillian has decided to claim this perticular hotkey combo for itself and I still can't assign/even use it when I close Trillian. I've done an export/reload with both on several occasions and never had a problem (till now...When I'm way behind and don't have time for this shit).

So...How in the hell do I go about reclaiming my favorite (& manditory) hotkey?!?

erg: I'm using Trillian v1.0e on WinXP SP2

I know what you mean Phonics about needing your hotkey combinations. I have a whole slew of them that I use. Although my format is Alt+Ctrl+Shift+'key' in order to avoid such conflicts.

Hmm, if you can't visually re-assign it, then I would try using a resource hacker to either re-map this hotkey or edit it out of Trillian. If you want, you can send me a copy of the executable, and I'll see what I can do. Let me know then.

I don't know how it is in v1.0.... but in Pro 2.0...

Go to File > Preferences
Under "Events", click the "Advanced" tab,

Hotkey: Ctrl-alt-C

Select that and hit Remove
