pretty sure the window is not transparent there. And, the slants is the "twist" effect that windowFX does.

ok, the window IS transparent there. now how do i fix that?
GCNaddict
i wasnt able to... its prolly a bug in winFX

okay, by mistake i disabled hardware driver support for my card, and the button to turn them on is not there. does anyone have the registry patch so i can manually turn them on?

The skinner has used transparancy(magic pink) in his skin in this case the above part of the titlebar. There is no real way of fixing this. You can cut with stylebuilder a part of the titlebar but then you would still see black at the corners of the skin. Just use another skin like windows classic and you'll see the problem disappears.

I hate to say it but i think windowfx is one big problem itself. It looks great on screenshots but it just doesn't work. Windows is simply not made for those kind of effects.

edit:

here's an image which uses the magic pink on the corners.

yes but a few friends of mine use the same skin on their cards and nothing like that happens. Should I upgrade to 2.12? (i am on 2.1 now)

Technically, it's not "magic pink" but pure purple. It is 255 red, 0 green, 255 blue (obviosuly)

And since 255 red, 255 green, 255 blue is pure white, then 255,0,255 is pure purple ^_^

actually he is right, in light, red+blue=pink

in paint/crayon/pigments, red+blue=purple

Whatever it is, skinners call it magic pink. Used is the 255-0-255 value. Photoshop tells me purple has the value 221-0-255.

Anyway I've tested it with WindowFX 2.11 and i'm not getting that problem although i see the black line when i stop dragging a window and let windowfx apply it's shadow again.

yep, the upgrade did it, now the bar comes but just for a second, then goes away. Thanks
