What is the issue?

Well, for work, I have a laptop and sometimes I have to change workplace.

Problem is, office and the second workplace have different isp's, so everytime I want to send mail using my own account, I have to alter the outgoing SMTP server to the ISP I'm using at that moment (otherwise I get the "relaying denied" message).

Now today, I moved over 3 times, and I'm kind of feeling stupid to have to change the smtp settings manually all the time.

I can't get it in my head that Outlook (2003) doesn't have an option : "if you get the relaying thing, use this alternative smtp server". Why on earth can't you select a second smtp server?? That would solve my entire problem.

Does anyone know of an easy solution to this problem? unsure.gif (oh, and I know I can make a different outlook e-mail account, but since I have 2 office accounts, and 2 privates, that would mean making an extra 4 accounts, and my head isn't big enough to handle that number of accounts wink.gif )

If the problem is relaying mail, then go into the e-mail accounts options, under more settings check "My outgoing server requires authentication." This way you can login to mail server and then send mail.

Tried that already... doesn't work.

(Tried al 3 possibilities in that tab page.)

Don't know whether the fact that 1 ISP is the biggest ADSL provider in the country and the other the biggest cable company has anything to do with that shifty.gif
