Most of you already know that I taped a school basketball game and other stuff
and then after I copied the mpegs to my hdd and played em,
The image quality was SOO SH*T on fullscreen. its shocking.
So I chucked it onto Ulead and made it widescreen by a lot and which helped somewhat.

Is there any other way to enhance the Video Quality?

Thanks smile.gif
Microshit

Can you not set the bits per sec of the video along with the resolution higher whilst recording?
Hasin

There are methods you can use to "enhance" the quality, but
to be honest once you've encoded it there's not much you can
do to remove blocking etc...

You could use your mpeg in TMPGEnc and tell it to encode your
mpeg, to well....an mpeg again setting picture noise reduction on.

It'll probably not make much difference though...

That's all I can think off.

I don't know if the other video experts in here can further help as there
may be some fancy stuff you can do in the high-end encoding softwares.

Im using Windows Media Encoder to re-encode it from mpg to a wmv.
On a quality higher than DVD.

Lets see how it goes smile.gif *fingers crossed*

(IF it improves the quality, would it get better if i kept repeating the re-encoding with the new output files?)

Ugh, by re-encoding your low quality file to higher quality you're
probably only going to enhance the crappyness of it...

So it was the aspect ratio of the clip that made it look so bad?
