Hi, I just got a New DVD Burner, and I was wondering if there is a way to convert XVID files into DVD format, so that they can be played in a DVD player, since I got a few DVD quality XVID movies lying around. Is it possible? How good is the quality obteined? Thanks in advance.

http://www.doom9.netthey have some stuff that could help you (although on the site they discuss the exact opposite, all you need is an encoder like tmpegenc[?].)

Many Xvid/DivX out there are badly encoded and won't burn to DVD video cleanly without rebuilding the index.
DivFix is a good tool to do this. After you've rebuilt the index, you can use Nero - it's the easiest program to use if you haven't done this before.
