Hi, I just got a New DVD Burner, and I was wondering if there is a way to convert XVID files into DVD format, so that they can be played in a DVD player, since I got a few DVD quality XVID movies lying around. Is it possible? How good is the quality obteined? Thanks in advance.

they have some stuff that could help you (although on the site they discuss the exact opposite, all you need is an encoder like tmpegenc[?].)

NeroVision Express is good and easy-to-use tool.

Oh, glad I found this. My brother just got "American Wedding" for his birthday... I want to get an XviD copy on my computer

Cheers!

Many Xvid/DivX out there are badly encoded and won't burn to DVD video cleanly without rebuilding the index. DivFix is a good tool to do this. After you've rebuilt the index, you can use Nero - it's the easiest program to use if you haven't done this before.
