I have had my Dell Inspiron 8500 laptop for about a year now and have lost the resource/diagnostics cd that it came with and cannot figure out how to get another one, which i think would be free. Can anyone help me out as to where I could get another cd?

anyways, like Illrigger said go to that website and just download them. Those disks aren't really crucial.

OMG, I ended up calling Dell and getting a brand new replacement laptop There were other things wrong with my laptop (inspiron 8500) when I got it. It would heat up so much that i could actually put my hand under it and it would burn my hand sometimes leaving blisters. So I told them that and they were like I think we should give you a new one for that. (Probably saw a lawsuite coming and decided to cover there asses to prevent it )


P.S. Since Im getting a new one and I am almost sure that it wont come with the SP2 final, Should I do a clean install right when I get it or would I be ok just running the network install. The reason I ask is because computers are always the best fresh out of the factory and i dont want to format or anything unless I have to. But I also dont want it to slow my performance by not doing a clean install and just installing the SP2 final network install.
