I installed Windows 98 after I set up MS Virtual PC 2004. I can't connect to the internet through it. I am running XP Pro SP1 as the host with a cable connection. In Win98 I am getting this when I try to release and renew the 169.254 IP address:



Any suggestions?

install the VPC addon pack that it asks you to install, and just share the net connection with VPC with your net connection in your windows ur running as the host os.
