Virtual Floppy Driver

QUOTE
This is a virtual floppy disk driver for Windows NT / 2000 / XP.
You can mount a floppy image file as a virtual floppy drive and directly access the contents --
view, edit, rename, delete or create files, format the virtual floppy, launch a program on the virtual floppy... whatever.

If like me, you have a self-built PC in which you couldn't be arsed fitting a
floppy drive, then this is for you...

As you know there are some proggies that only install to floppy disks,
eg The Maxtor hdisk utility. I've tried other methods of trying to fool these
types of proggies into thinking a ram-drive was a real floppy, but never
had any joy. Even the old SUBST command didn't work.

I've been on the lookout for a working alternative for a while.
This wee proggie works just the way I wanted! clapping.gif

For those of you without a floppy drive, try it wink.gif

I can now create a bootable Re-writable CD created with the contents of this
virtial floppy disk, and use it to run this boot-time only utility. cool2.gif

I wish MS would let you load raid drivers from something other than a floppy when installing windows. Then I would be able to get rid of mine.
