<img style="float: right" src="http://www.iexbeta.com/images/news/logos/iexBrowsers.gif">Major updates for the popular web browsers, Avant Browser and iRider were released today. Both have many new features and fixes.

Latest Changes:
  • Improved Popup Blocker, more popups will be catched
  • Improved Floating Bar, less resource will be used for it
  • Fix the bug of high CPU usage on large page
  • Improved RSS Parser
  • Auto-Detect RSS Feed, and parse it automatically
  • Cleaned up options Window
  • Avant Error Page is optional, you can disable it from Options->Misc.->Enable Avant Browsing Error Page
  • Fix the bug that cannot start in Limited User Account

iRider 2.2 Final
  • The Favorites menu includes a hierarchy of Favorites items (bookmarks) as an alternative to opening Favorites folders in the Page List. (While using Favorites folders is still recommended, there are occasions when accessing many deeply nested folders that one's Page List can fill up with too many folders.) Clicking on a folder in the Links Bar also displays a menu with the contents of the folder.
  • Favorites menus each have Open Folder commands to open the associated folder in the Page List, and Open All commands to open all the Favorites within a folder. Favorites pages in the Page List also include an Open All button.
  • If a page is opened from a Favorite in a menu, you can still use the Parent command to open or go to the originating Favorites folder.
  • The View/Timed Refresh command now has an option to either mark or not mark a page as unvisited when it's refreshed. The Help page describes this option.
