Hey guys I am having a really odd issue with Systemworks 2005.

Basically anytime I use any office application it pops up with a window saying that Systemworks 2005 doesnt support the Repair feature and that I need to reinstall

Other than that it behaves perfectly. Just gets a little irritating anytime I open up Word or Outlook though sad.gif

Anyone have any clue what would be causing it? I already tried turning off the Office Detection crap in 2k5.

Maybe its just a bug they have yet to patch eh?

Actually I found the information on their site just by typing in the word Reinstall into the search engine for the 2005 area.

It seems that when they made NAV2005 they thought no one would ever move the Norton Systemworks 2005 Folder from its default location on the start menu. I tend to put my Systemworks Folder in my System Tools folder since that is what it is.

So once I followed the directions and put it back in its original location the problem went away. *sighs*

Now I just wish they wouldnt have done that.

I think you can do that within the installation it seems its just monitoring its files places even the shortcuts so its replace them back if one of them missed.

I know some apps that do but it seems that NSW2005 doesnt allow you to choose the start menu folder according to the docs on their site.

It will only install the Start Menu shortcuts to the root all programs area sad.gif
