Even when ClearType is turned on for Windows XP, Matlab 6.5 doesn't use ClearType in the M-file editor or command window. Does anyone know if Matlab simply doesn't support ClearType, or is there a registry entry I can tweak to somehow activate it in Matlab?

that all depends on the app design. if the app rasters its own fonts (like a bitmap rather than text, see if you can select the text), then cleartype will not work. Ive heard of Matlab, however i am not familiar with it. Ive seen many other apps not use cleartype because it draws its own fonts on the screen
