BackUp Utility - The Black Hand
The BackUp Utility allows users to create back up copies of important files related to eMule. To use, simply navigate to the BackUp section of the preferences dialog, check which file types you wish to create back ups of, and click "Back Up Now." Alternately, you can select the option "AutoBackup on Exit." This will automatically back up *.ini, *.dat, and *.met files each time you close eMule.

Server Editor - The Black Hand
The Server Editor allows users to edit individual server information (Name, Description, IP, and Port). To use, right click on any server and click "Edit Server Information." A dialog box with be displayed with the current information listed at the top, as well as fields to change the information. Edit the information contained in these edit fields, and hit ok to apply these changes.

Release - The Black Hand & IceBreak
The Release dialog allows users to check the new releases of RDF compatible sites, such as ShareReactor. Clicking "Get New Releases" will retrieve the *.rdf's from all sites in the list. To retrieve the *.rdf from a single site, select it from the list or type it into the address bar, and click "Get from this site only." "Add this site" will save the currently selected site, while "Delete this site" deletes the currently selected site. Double clicking in the release information list will open a browser window, automatically directing you to the release's link. Checking "Open new window" will cause a new browser window to open for each double-click; with this option un-checked the same window will be used.

New TrayDialog - The Black Hand & eMule +
A graphical tray dialog has been included for ease of use. The most commonly needed options are displayed for quick access.

Anti-Leecher - Morph Mod
Bans known leecher mods in your upload queue. Usage is "behind the scenes" - no user intervention required, however, this feature can be disabled through "The Black Hand Tweaks" section of the preferences.

Extended Safe Hash - SlugFiller
Added more to the SafeHash code that has already been implemented by the official client. This code allows for safer hashing of files, and fewer problems relating to hashing. Usage is "behind the scenes" - no user intervention required

Mulitple Instances - VQB
Multiple Instances allows users to run more than one instance of eMule at the same time. To use, navigate to the "General" section of the preferences and check "Multiple Instances." A restart of eMule will be required in order to use this feature. Now you can open 2 or more eMules at the same time.

See Own Credits - The Black Hand & VQB
Allows you to see the credits other users have given you. Clients that have given you credits are indicated with a star in the upper right of their client icon. The credit modifier given to you can be seen in the client's details (right-click a client and select "User Details."

New Icons - The Black Hand / Fooood
Most icons have been changed. Thanks to Fooood for the icons used for the toolbar. Now client icons look like their respective official icon/logo. (why has no one done this before?)

Userhash Display - Morph Mod
Your userhash is now displayed in the "My Info" section of the Server dialog.

IpFilter Update - milobac
Users can manually/automatically update the IpFilter.dat directly from eMule. Navigate to the "Security" section of the preferences to access options regarding this feature. Clicking "Update IpFilter.dat" will update the IpFilter.dat at that time. Checking "Update IpFilter.dat on startup" will automatically update the IpFilter.dat each time you start eMule.

MSS Selection - SiRoB & MightyKnife
Allows users to change the Max Segment Size used by eMule. If you're not sure what this is, then leave it alone.

Shared SubDirectories - SlugFiller
A more advanced version of Shared Subdirectories than is included in the official client. Allows for sharing of non-mapped network drives. Hold the ctrl key while selecting a directory to share it and it's subdirectories.

Check DiskSpace - SlugFiller
eMule will check available disk space to complete a file. If files do not have enough room they will automatically be paused, and their status set to "Insufficient DiskSpace." To enable/disable this feature, navigate to the directories section of the Preferences dialog and check/uncheck "Check Diskspace."

Push Small Files - VQB
Users requesting small files (< 1 chunk [9.28 mb]) will get a boost in the upload queue, and move through the queue quicker.

Spread ReAsk - SlugFiller
File requests and reasks from sources now have an added random delay of up to 5 minutes to prevent connection peaks caused by all requests and reasks occuring all at the same time.

There is now a "progress bar" in the shared files list showing how many times was each part of a file uploaded. Black means never uploaded, light blue means uploaded a little, dark blue means uploaded alot.

Reconnect on LowID - SlugFiller
If you receive a LowID after connecting to a server, eMule will automatically reconnect until a HighID is given or until the reconnect limit has been reached (configurable in the Server section of the Preferences).

New Rating Icons - The Black Hand & eMule +
New icons are displayed based on the average rating of a file.

Empty = No Rating/No Comment received
Grey = Not Rated
Red = Poor
Orange = Fair
Yellow = Good

NNP, FQ, and HQR Source Management - Sivka

A4AF Management - Sivka
Manage sources with A4AF status. All to one file, All to any other file, and Auto. Usage via right-click menu in download list.

A4AF Counter - Sivka
Displays how many files a sources has a status of A4AF for. Shown before their user name

List Requested - Sivka
Displays a popup box showing which files a client has requested from you as well as which files you have requested from a client. Right click in any list and click "List Requested Files."

Save/Load Sources v2 - Ottavio84 & khaos & The Black Hand
Save and load sources in an easy to read text file (*.txtsrc). Configurable in "The Black Hand Tweaks" section of the Preferences dialog.

Accurate Time Remaining - khaos
The average time that a file will need to complete based on how long it has been active (i.e. not paused) and how much data has been transferred. Configurable in "The Black Hand Tweaks" section of the Preferences.

Displays the amount of compression of a file in the upload list.

Download Manager - khaos
Allows you to set what order files will resume in. Options in right click menu and preferences.

Slot Focus - zz
Transfers files to fewer clients at a time, allowing them to get maximum bandwidth. Automatically configures itself to use the fewest slots need to use up the entire upload bandwidth.

Upload Speed Sense - zz
Automatically adjusts upload speed based on ping (much like the old DynUp system). This feature can be enabled/disabled/configured in "The Black Hand Tweaks" section of the Preferences dialog.

Powershare - zz
Clients requesting files set to Powershare will automatically receive a slot (if available). Allows for effective releasing while still sharing other files. Powersharing can be activated/deactivated per file via the right-click menu in the Shared Files dialog.

Rare Chunk Push - zz
Clients in the upload list that have requested a chunk with the lowest availability will be promoted to the first upload slot (highest upload). Chunk availability can be viewed in a new column in the upload list, and Rare Chunk Push can be disabled in "The Black Hand Tweaks" section of the Preferences dialog.

Enhanced Friend - Slots zz
All available upload bandwidth is focused on friend slots, if the friends wants to download. You will be able to give friend slots to several friends simultaneously.

Transfer Ratio Balance - zz
More advanced way to limit UL/DL ratio based on session speeds. DL is no longer directly linked to upload speed but is based on uploaded/downloaded data. As long as the amount uploaded is atleast 1/3 of the total downloaded, download speed will remain at maximum. This option can be increased to a 1:4 ration in "The Black Hand Tweaks" section of the Preferences dialog.

Enhanced Chunk Selection - Maella & jicxicmic
This is a new algorithm for the selection of the chunks to download to ensure maximum spread of files on the network.

Enable/Disable Source Exchange - Tarod
Allows you to disable Source Exchange (via "The Black Hand Tweaks" section of the Preferences dialog). We do not recommend you disable Source Exchange but it can be helpful to save bandwidth on slower connections.

Defeat 0-filled Parts Senders - Maella & xrmb
This is a protection against packets with fake contents to avoid corrupting a file in download. A packet and the sender are rejected when the following conditions are fulfilled:
- The compression factor is too high. 4x for compressed file types (e.g. zip) or 25x for uncompressed file types (e.g. txt).
- The packet overlaps the bounds of the initial request.

This feature can be enabled/disabled via "The Black Hand Tweaks" section of the Preferences dialog.

Mod Version 0x55 - The Black Hand & Maella
Allows for identification of mods using compatible code (most of them do now)

Extended Clean-up - Maella
Clean-up all internal lists when the instance of a file or client is deleted. The useless clients (no upload/donload states) are deleted after two hours of inactivity.
